Enhanced absorption Turmeric supplement with proprietary bioperine ingredient to strengthen the body for vitality and boost antioxidant protection. Turmeric is a member of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae), which is native to tropical South Asia. Turmeric is best known as a spice and is one of the main components of curry powder responsible for the yellow hue that is synonymous with curries. In India and other parts of Asia, Turmeric is more than just a spice - Turmeric has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Turmeric has long been prized for its antioxidant benefits. 

The active ingredients of Turmeric are a group of compounds called curcuminoids, which include curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin. Of the three, Curcumin plats the active role. Curcumin also protects cells, tissues and organs from harmful free radical damage by preventing the formation of free radicals. Curcumin is known for its multiple health benefits - and these benefits are better attained when Curcumin is combined with agents like piperine, which significantly boosts its absorption. 

Bioperine® enhances Curcumin's absorption. A major hurdle to the development of Curcumin for use as a supplement is its poor bioavailability. Turmeric is not soluble in water and it is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream, and once there, it is rapidly metabolized and eliminated. The spicy taste or heat of black pepper is familiar to most but not many may know how this heat comes about. This heat is actually a manifestation of biological activity of several active compounds present in black pepper - the prominent one being piperine. Studies show that when a small amount of piperine is combined with turmeric extract in a capsule, the absorption of curcuminoids into the bloodstream is increased. Live-well Cumin uses the advanced technology Bioperine®, a patented extract obtained from black pepper fruits standardized to minimum 95% piperine.

Dosage and Directions For Use:

  • Adults: Take 1-3 capsules daily with or after meals.

  • Black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) fruit extract standardized to contain minimum 95% piperine (Bioperine®) 2.5mg

Shipping Rates will be calculated based on the weight of the order and the delivery destination. The delivery rate can be viewed upon checkout.

In general, we will be using Ninja Van for majority of the orders, particularly all local orders to East Malaysia & West Malaysia with a maximum weight of 30kg. 

Delivery

We provide delivery across Malaysia (including Peninsular & East Malaysia). 

Parcels will be delivered using our appointed courier companies to your preferred address.

Any changes to the delivery address are not possible after payment is made. Please ensure that the address you provide is correct and accurate before making payment.   

Delivery will be available from Monday to Saturday, excluding Sunday and local Public Holidays.

All orders will be processed within 3-5 working days and shipped out as soon as possible after packing. Tracking numbers will be provided via email once your orders are shipped out.

In the event that delivery to some locations is not possible, our Customer Support Team may contact customers via WhatsApp Business Phone to arrange for delivery to an alternative address.

Orders will be delivered:

Within Peninsular Malaysia: 3-5 working days

Within East Malaysia: 5-8 working days

AA Pharmacy promises to provide our utmost efforts to ensure that orders are correctly fulfilled.

This Exchange, Return, Refund Policy is ONLY applicable for orders and deliveries via AA Pharmacy E-Store.  

Should there be any discrepancies in product(s) delivered, or if you wish to seek further assistance, customers may contact our AA Customer Support Team (details below) to report on the products within 7 days of receiving your parcel, otherwise AA Pharmacy reserves the right to reject the claim.

Our Customer Support Team will review each customer’s application on a case-by-case basis and, at its sole discretion, determine whether the customer’s application is successful and provide instruction for the next course of action.

Walk-ins will not be entertained at any AA Pharmacy retail outlets.

Upon approval for order refund, AA E-Store will take 2-3 working days to process the refund request and another 7-14 working days for the bank/payment gateway to process the refund. 

    Cancellation

    AA Pharmacy E-Store reserves the right to cancel any orders if the product is not available for any reason. If this occurs, notification will be sent to the customer via WhatsApp or email and payment will be refunded accordingly. The refunded amount will be credited into customer’s payment account (i.e., Credit card/bank account/e-wallet/FPX) within 7-14 days from the refund date.

    The customer is not allowed to cancel order once the order is confirmed and/or the parcel has been collected by the appointed courier company.
